Water Fall and Last night in our home stays

I cannot believe the time in Nebaj is over! Today we woke up and drove two hours to reach an incredible water fall. We swam and took so many pictures. Anna then made Salsa and Avocado for us and we enjoyed a great picnic with an incredible view. As we lied down and looked up at the water fall  life felt great. We were laying down eyes wide open staring at the most incredible water fall I had ever seen so close.

I returned to my home stay for my last night here. I am very sad to leave them! I helped Efraim study math for his test tomorrow and I am really scared for him because he really knew very little. And last test he got a 40%... I made him a practice test to do tomorrow but we could not get through everything before dinner.
Because it was my last night Nila made me chicken tomales. She said people usually only eat them on special occasions and because it was my last night she made them for me!

After dinner Nila saw that I had painted my nails blue and asked if I wanted her to paint flowers on top of them. Of course I said yes and after dinner she painted flowers on all my nails and then I painted the same on hers. I gave the frames and chocolate to my family who were so appreciative! Then Efraim gave me a pen he had made for me! It was a pen with blue string wrapped around in a cool pattern.

I then packed all my stuff and am in bed for my last night here. The mom told me how much she wants me to stay and to come back and visit her! I had the best time in this home stay and it is so weird to think I might never see these people who treated me like their daughter for two weeks again. Tomorrow we depart for Antigua...its been real Nebaj.
