Publicity Day 2

Today we headed two hours away to do our second day of Publicity for our Camapign this thursday. We were split into two groups, mine headed for the town of Uspantan. We arrived and had to make our posters and flyers that we were going to hand out. We were working with the local entrepreneur who knew the area and the people very well. He even got a bunch of people to tape the flyer to their car! Muoser and I again were a great team and successfully would talk to all the women, men, and children that would pass by in the street in order to publicize our campaign. Most of the time we were very well recieved except for the few instances when the women would be extremely intimidated by a 6 foot 3 american man walking up to her. We also were able to get on the radio to announce our campaign.

After a long day of walking around and driving back and forth we relaxed for a bit in the internet cafe and then returned to our home stays. 

Today was another fun day with my brothers. Miguelito and I played volleyball and reach our all time record of 64...expect daily updates of our record. We then played marbles again and his two little cousins Jessica and Jacinto came over to play with us. Jessica was really shy at frist but once she warmed up to me was having a great time. We went into my room and all they wanted to do was do photobooth again. They were again amused by all of the effects and were entertained for so long.

For dinner we had beef, rice, and tortillas which was not bad. Then Efraim decided to show me his break dancing moves and then we watched youtube break dancing videos for a while. We watched other funny videos, played super mario again, and said good night. I really like my home stay siblings and when I told them I wanted to go to bed they had to make sure we could play more games tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning I am waking up early to go for my first run! This will be followed by a hike a new restaurant for lunch and a soccer game! Going to be my first active day and I am very excited.
